AN AMAZING SHOW! A rare and unique experience to see the MESSIAH as never before! Live singing, dancing, acting and visual art! You don’t want to miss this historical, groundbreaking event!

A Beautiful Multidimensional Expression of Music, Dance and Visual Arts

The Kearsarge Conservatory of the Performing Arts is excited to present the Messiah in a way that has never been done before! Collaborating with the Center for the Arts, this all new multi-media production will include singing, dancing, and acting under the direction of Angela Brannon Tarleton, Michelle Gosnell and Kevin Tarleton, and visual arts elements produced by Peter Bloch, with an accompanying MicroGallery exhibit curated by Rick Stockwell, chair of the Center for the Arts Visual Arts Guild.

It was Angela’s vision to add dance, visual arts and acting to the most beloved pieces of Handel’s Messiah. As Director and Choreographer she wanted to present the Messiah in a more reasonable length, as is preferred by today’s audiences. She and Michell chose the most recognizable of Handel’s music and discovered the libretto which actors will read between performances of song and dance. These readings will be accompanied by a visual arts show of works created by local artists specifically for this production, many of which will be for sale in our Micro Gallery during the Show itself.

Angela is excited to present some of her most stunning and beautiful work ever. Her dance company Art in Motion, a local favorite, will be dancing works of both classical and contemporary ballet. Michelle Gosnell, Director of Music, brings a small but powerful chorus of both professional and amateur singers together in perfect harmony. Kevin Tarleton, Acting Director and President of KCPA, will be directing the actors to read the libretto in such a way that the audience will be able to experience the Messiah in its entirety, with visual representations throughout.

Please come and enjoy this new groundbreaking family friendly production!
